What Assist with Travel & Transport is
Assist with Travel and Transport (0108) provides safe, supported transport so you can get to the places you need or want to go. This can include work, study, medical appointments, shopping, social activities, or community programmes.
It is more than just booking a taxi. A trained support worker can travel with you, help you use public transport, or drive you door-to-door in a suitable vehicle. The goal is to help you travel safely, comfortably, and reliably.
This support is for people who find it difficult or unsafe to use regular public transport because of their disability.
What we offer
SA Holistic Care is a registered NDIS provider for Assistance with Travel and Transport (code 0108). We provide safe and reliable transport across Adelaide with trained support workers.
We can support you with:
Regular transport to work or study
Getting you there and back safely every day or on set days.
Medical and therapy appointments
Reliable transport so you never miss important health appointments.
Social and community activities
Help to attend groups, events, shopping, or see friends.
Door-to-door support
A support worker meets you at your home and stays with you until you reach your destination.
Public transport training
Help to learn routes, use buses or trains confidently, and travel more independently over time.
Flexible trips
We can support both regular weekly travel and occasional journeys.
Our drivers and support workers are trained to assist people with different needs, including mobility, sensory, or cognitive support requirements. We use suitable vehicles where needed.
What Assist with Travel & Transport does not cover
NDIS travel support (0108) does not cover:
Transport funding is for getting you to your destination safely. It does not pay for the activity itself.
Is this support right for you?
Assist with Travel & Transport may be right for you if:
This support may not be the best fit if you can already travel safely and independently using public transport or taxis, or if your main need is something else (such as one-to-one community participation support). We will always be honest with you during a consultation about whether this is the right support for your situation.
